Walking

There are many possible walks in the area. Some popular areas are Puck's Glen (starting at the car park behind the lodge), Kilmun Arboretum, Glenbranter and Ardnadam. A great local walk is along the west side Loch Eck from Glenbranter to the Younger Botanical Garden.

Cycling

As with walking, there are numerous routes in the area which are suitable for cyclists. Mountain bikes can also be hired locally.

Picnicking

There are many sites in the area, such as Jubillee Point on Loch Eck; Sandy Beach, Innellan; and Ardentinny beach.

Swimming

There are two swimming pools locally, catering for all ages. The Riverside pool in Dunoon town centre is a popular choice.

Cinema

Studio Cinema, Dunoon is an independently owned cinema showing a selection of films.

Golf

Scotland is known as the home of golf, and has several famous courses. A list of golf courses in the area can be found on the local Tourist Board website.
